Jan and I made our fourth trip to Buenos Aires in October. It was the best time ever. We danced practically non-stop for two weeks. One of our favorite milongas was El Arranque. We met a lot of friendly dancers and went back again and again.
Late one evening the floor thinned out and it gave our friend, Migdalia Romero, a chance to shoot some video of us.

My friend Alberto Dassieu is a milonguero living in Buenos Aires. When we visited there, he loved dancing with Jan, referring to her as a gran bailarina de tango (a great tango dancer). During our October 2006 visit to Argentina, he invited her to perform with him in the show "Milonguísimo" at La Confitería Ideal. I shot video of the performance. Here it is.
So, I thought I was going to write more in this blog than I have, but hey, there isn't really a shortage of chatter on the network, right? How about waiting to put up some good stuff.
Jan and I celebrated the New Year with tango (of course!). Our friend, Maggie Wells hosted a lovely party in her home. Here's a little little video of the guests to show our appreciation. Of course, I'm shooting, so I'm not in it! But Maggie is there, Dana, and there are a few glimpses of Jan.
