Oddest holiday ever. US Airways forgot to maintain their aircraft and decided they'd have to fix it instead of sending Jan and me to Ohio. We were never able to fly at all! The trip was canceled and they refunded my money.

Last night we hosted our Milonga del Infierno. Literally that means the tango dance party from Hell. Now, that peculiar name comes from the neighborhood we live in. Since we live in Hell's Kitchen, we call it Hell's Milonga. Our evening was full of terrific friends, beautiful music, and swell desserts. It all contributes to what I call Heaven in Hell's Kitchen.

I gave Mom some amaryllis bulbs for Christmas. They sent me this snapshot they took just before they had to evacuate. Now it's taking over Westbrook.
It was great visiting Troy over President's Day weekend. I got to see Mom & Dad, Don & Irene, Dorothy & Dave, and annoy all of them with my new cameras. So enjoy the pics! That's it, there won't be any more since I'm not allowed back...
