Jan's cousin. Adrienne, and Adrienne's husband, Mark, sent her the most beautiful flowers for her birthday. She was thrilled! That was a lovely thing to do. Thanks, Adrienne and Mark.

Bullet Time

Still Life
I've always appreciated Jan's photography, and I'm fascinated by her explanations of what she does and also her evaluations of other photographers. That doesn't mean I really comprehend it!
Then she showed me a book called How to Use Light Creatively from HPBooks, and suddenly I wanted to give it a try myself.
This still life of a pussy willow branch is my second attempt at shooting something. I know it has its problems, but it's nice for an amateur, isn't it? If I didn't know why before, I know now why Jan is exhausted after her shoots. This took me hours.
